How To Add A Business Listing To Your Account

 

Adding your business listing to our directory is a quick and easy way to get your business out on the world wide web.

Your first listing submission will require approval and verification from our team before going live. This is part of our community quality control process to minimise the risk of bots or suspicious listings appearing on the website.

In the off-chance that your first listing is rejected, we will contact you to verify some issues that our team may have flagged as needing more information on.

How to add a business listing to your account:

  1. On your account dashboard, click the ‘Business Listings’ option on the left sidebar.
  2. When the ‘Business Listings’ menu opens, click ‘Add Business Listing’.
  3. Under ‘Product’ choose the 'Free' option and click ‘Submit’.
  4. Select the main category that you would like your service to be listed under and click ‘Submit’. Please choose carefully as you will not be able to change this after submitting. If you do need to change it, please send us an email and we can change it for you.
  5. The listing details window will open. The following table describes what each option means.
ItemDescription
Primary CategoryThis is the main category that you selected in the previous window.
Extra CategoriesIf you would like to list your service under 5 extra categories, you can select them here.
LogoYou can upload an image of your business logo.
SummaryA short sentence to describe what your business is about. This will show up in the website search results.
Business NameThe name of your business.
SlugA URL slug is the last part of the URL address. This is automatically generated after you type your business name. Should another business have the same name as yours, it may prompt you to type a new slug.
Business DescriptionThis is where the main description for your business goes. Let your customers know a little bit about your background and what you are offering.
Opening HoursIf you have specific opening hours, you can list them here.
Business TypeYou can choose between ‘In-person only’, ‘Online/remote only’ or ‘Both in-person and online/remote’.
GalleryYou can upload up to 10 images.
WebsiteA website for customers to visit.
PhoneA contact number for customers to call.
Social Media URLsIf you have any social media accounts for this service, you can list the URLs here.
AddressEnter the address where your business is located. If it is an online or private address, simply enter the city or suburb name.
Zip/Postal CodeThe zip or postal code of where your service is located.
Location (Country, State, City)The location of your service.
TimezoneThe timezone of your service.
LatitudeThis will be automatically generated after location is entered.
LongitudeThis will be automatically generated after location is entered.

How To Add An Event To Your Account

 

Posting an event is a great way to let website visitors know what is going on with your business. Whether you're hosting a workshop or organising a weekend market, adding your event to the directory will increase the chances of it being seen by customers.

It is free to list unlimited events associated with your business listing. These will be connected to your business listing in the directory.

How to add an event to your account:

  1. On your account dashboard, click the 'Events' option on the left sidebar.
  2. When the ‘Events’ menu opens, click ‘Add Event’.
  3. Under ‘Product’ choose the default ‘Free’ option and click ‘Submit’.
  4. Select the main category that you would like your event to be listed under and click ‘Submit’. Please choose carefully as you will not be able to change this after submitting. If you do need to change it, please send us an email and we can change it for you.
  5. The listing details window will open. The following table describes what each option means.

Parent Business Listing

The business listing in your account that this event is related to.

Logo

You can upload an image of your business logo.

Event Name

The name of your event.

Slug

A URL slug is the last part of the URL address. This is automatically generated after you type your event details. Should another event have the same name as yours, it may prompt you to type a new slug.

Event Summary

A short sentence to describe what your event is about. This will show up in the website search results.

Event Details

This is where the bulk of your event information will go. Let your customers know what to expect from your event.

Buy Tickets Link

If your event is ticketed, this is where you can list the link to buy tickets.

Gallery

Upload up to 10 images to support your event listing.

Phone

A contact number for customers to call.

Website

A website for customers to visit.

Event Start Date & Time

Select your event start date on the calendar and choose the time beneath it.

Frequency

Select the frequency of the event.

Event End Date & Time

Select your event end date on the calendar and choose the time beneath it.

Address

Enter the address where the event will be held. If it is an online or private location, simply enter the city or suburb name.

Zip/Postal Code

The zip or postal code of where the event will be held.

Location (Country, State, City)

The location of where the event will be held.

Latitude

This will be automatically generated after location is entered.

Longitude

This will be automatically generated after location is entered.

SEO Title

SEO Keywords

How To Add A Service To Your Account

 

The ‘Service’ feature in our directory is perfect for business owners to showcase their offerings and areas of expertise. It is a fantastic way to highlight your services and show potential customers what you do best. When customers search for a service, your listing will show up, maximising your audience reach. 

It is free to list up to 5 services associated with your business listing. These will be connected to your business listing in the directory.
